The feature is certain at 99—even if the path was losing.
A Book wild advances the collection whether its spin returns a prize or not. Reaching 99 therefore causes an automatic ten-Free-Spins award; it does not depend on the 99th Book forming a winning line.
The condition matters: the game does not guarantee how soon Books will appear, that a chosen budget will last until 99, or that the awarded Free Spins will return a profit.
The stake rule
Your whole collection sets the stake.
The game remembers the stake attached to every collected Book. At 99, it blends that history into a weighted average rather than simply using your latest stake. If the result falls between available stake steps, the game rounds it to a valid option using the rule in its help file.
A worked example
Changing stake changes the average—not the past.
Suppose 66 Books were collected at 0.20 credits and the remaining 33 at 0.50 credits. Weight each stake by the Books collected at that stake, not by how many spins you played.
- First 66 Books66 × 0.20 = 13.20
- Next 33 Books33 × 0.50 = 16.50
- Unrounded average29.70 ÷ 99 = 0.30
The last stake was 0.50, but the calculated average is 0.30 credits. The live game applies its available-stake rounding rule if needed. These numbers explain the calculation; they are not a recommended betting sequence or a prediction of collection cost.
Carry, reset, order
Three details that can surprise you
- After the collection feature is awarded, the count resets.
- If one spin takes the total beyond 99, extra Books carry into the new count.
- If that same spin also lands three or more Books, the instant trigger plays before the collection reward.

Does changing stake improve the meter?
No stake pattern changes the random chance of a Book landing. Changing stake changes only the weighted average attached to collected Books and the amount put at risk on future spins.

No. The counter records Book wilds, not rounds. A spin can add no Books, one Book or several Books. The number of spins and the total cost needed to fill the counter are not fixed.

No. The collection reward uses the stakes attached to all 99 collected Books. A higher stake on the last Book affects only its part of that average; it does not replace the earlier collection history.
